Asam Pedas Ikan Terubuk
Pekasam Fish
The pekasam fish is made of marinated river fish with rice, kept for at least a month in an earthen jar. The fish is usually the tilapia, although some people prefers other types of river fish.
The fish is then fried and served with a slice of lime, and eaten with rice.
The pekasam used to be the food for the poor. Paddy farmers used to have them for lunch when working in paddy fields.

Balinese coffee
They claim that this is the way balinese have their coffee. With coconut cream instead of cream from milk. I really don't know. I've been to Bali, but in all honesty, I've never had this type of coffee.
But I still like it. In particular, the taste and aroma of the beans are still detectable in spite of the cream base it is served in.
Balinese Nasi Champor
Literally means mixed rice, rice mixed with a variety of different dishes. This, I sampled at Ole Ole Bali, a halal Balinese restaurant located in Sunway PJ.

Chilli's Big Bite Burger
This burger was enormous. It had to be cut in quarters before we could enjoy it. Served with onion rings, fries and mayonaise as dipping sauce. The beef was tender and full of taste.
I had this one at Chilli's USJ Empire Mall. It was the best hamburger I ever had.
Wondermilk Rainbow Chocolate Cake
This is a rainbow chocolate cake from Wondermilk. The children sure loves the taste. The chocolate cake is thick with dark chocolate. It was to celebrate one of my children's birthday.
